In the Nick of Time: I was picked up as a stray and put in a small, rural, and high-kill shelter. I had a hurt leg. The shelter decided I needed to be put down. At the end of the day, I was put in the "room." Fortunately a volunteer there didn't agree. I didn't agree either, but it was out of my paws. Fortunately, the volunteer called BRAT. BRAT called the shelter and said they would take me. Thank you!!! The volunteer then took me out of the shelter and took me to her vet. Thank you, too! She and BRAT saved my life in the nick of time. The vet said my leg wasn't bad. It looked like I was bit by another dog. He's right. I was! The vet cleaned it up, bandaged it, and put me on meds. I'm now in BRAT's care. Thanks to the volunteer and BRAT, I now have a future. Would you like to be in my future, too? I need a new forever home.
